Too Wet & Windy To Ride-Christmas Grooming Instead

Here in Southern Ohio we've not had the snow the rest of the country has had. Instead we've had rain.. and more rain.. and wind.. and freezing temps.. thawing temps and yet more rain. This has turned our pasture into a sloppy soupy slippery muddy mess.

Bonnie - doesn't look bad except for her legs and tail because she's been blanketed:

Jim found Rosie's "special spot" under her belly:

I even brushed tails out. Rosie's is soooo thick that if I don't stay on top of it she gets dread locks! I love this picture as it puts her size into perspective. I'm 5'3" and can't see over her rump!

  2. ...she is super-sized (and you do look pretty darn happy--like your hair)! Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas (love the pearl...being a Pisces, I seem to love anything from the ocean!).

  3. Thank you! I was happy at that moment. Horses are therapy and expending physical energy is always a pick-me-up.

Kate - Rosie's tail was so long that we had to cut it so it wouldn't drag the ground. It's hoof level now.

Kelly - the ring was a surprise. When shopping for Midget's 18th bday gift I saw this ring and said "Wow I like that ring!" . Jim has a great memory about these things.
