I left work early today with a migraine. I usually get at least one per month.. I believe this one was #2 this month and man its harsh.
My Sadie Lady is a sick old lady dog ~ I really need to call the vet and get her in. She's almost 16 years old and I believe her body has had enough. I'm having a hard time having enough of her. This picture was taken in 2007, she's not anywhere near this alive now makes me incredibly sad.
... And I have a sick horse. Rosie has thick white mucus in both nostrils and a heavy cough. Barn manager said "I was going to call you a few days ago to let you know she was coughing" When I asked "Why didn't you call?" He didn't have an answer.
UGH !!!! Have I ever mentioned how much I HATE BOARDING!
Vet will be out tomorrow ~ I pray it's not very serious. How I hate when my babies, both the two legged and four legged are sick and I can't help them.
Poor girls! Hopefully both will be alright. It's the loneliest feeling in the world having to put a pet to sleep.
ReplyDeleteOh, so sorry to hear you have a migraine! I used to get them once or twice a month years ago. But thank goodness they are gone now.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that all the stress of having sick animals doesn't help either.
Having to make a decision to put a pet down is the hardest thing to do. I've had to do that several times, it's never easy for me but it was the best for the ones who were ill.
Wow, they knew your horse had a problem and didn't call you? I am so glad I have my horse here on the farm!
Hope that nasty headache goes away, I feel for ya!
