R.I.P Clyde

I didn't own you big guy, but I enjoyed many great rides with you, including this one on the day you came with Bonnie to welcome her to new life with me.

At just 16 years young, my dear friend had to put one of his families favorite horses, and the horse that his son rode daily, down.  Clyde coliced today and never really came out of it.  Vet was called and determined Clyde had a tumor on his intestine and there really was no other option.

Please say a prayer for my friend and his family as the deal with this loss.

Everyone hug your ponies - you never know what will tomorrow will bring.

  1. Clyde is my first name - named after my father. That's tough.

I know, with life and all, one does never know when the time may end. I caught that thought in my heart - last post too- Enjoy, celebrate and revel in life's bounty...when the gettin's good..tomorrow is an unknown. Glory to God for all our times, I say!
