The event was held at Happenstance Stables and the clinician is their resident trainer "T".
"T" was great, patient with every rider. You can see above "E's" horse wasn't sure about the "flooring"
but with gentle, firm but fair coaching "E" and her horse conquered "The Tarp"
Then we headed outside.
There were 10 horse and rider combinations, all of us on our Dressage or Hunter/jumper show horse.
We walked over tire steps...
And over Teeter Toter bridges...
Over squishy things (there is a mattress under the rubber mats)...
Through a trench with water in the bottom...
Some horses went up...
More than one got stuck on top...
Because stepping down is a 100% trust factor. Horse must trust you, and you must trust your horse...
Some can walk a straight line...
Photo credit to my husband. He spent his entire Saturday out with us horse women!
Love it! We just had a similar day at our barn with obstacles, but your obstacles are way cooler!
