Graduation and Celebration

Rain threatened so ceremony was held in the High School Gym.  Not a great place for picture taking, but the school hired a professional and we can buy candid shots.

When I finally found Sami after ceremony she was already crying...  Notice not a class ring on her finger, but her Grammie's ring.

Then it was time to party... We live a long way from family so was just small gathering at Sami's Dad's house.  Many of her friends came was very nice!

We played Corn Hole...

... and more Corn Hole

Then my youngest son brought out the Giant Frisbee!

Photo Boards...

And my beautiful daughter...

  5. Awwwww, such a special day! What a special tribute to Grammie, too. Your daughter is very beautiful. I know you are probably busting with pride. I would be, too! hehe!

So, why is that game called cornhole? Why isn't there corn being thrown? Looks like a bean bag toss. Or is that not a cool enough name anymore? lol!

What a special and fun day for everyone!

  6. Thank you everyone very much! A mom could not ask for a better daughter that's for sure!

Lisa - I have no idea why they call it corn hole. It is a bean bag toss - goal to get it into the hole. I call it Hillbilly horse shoes! They actually have Corn Hole Tournaments here... I just laugh.
