Thank you everyone for your remarks about shoeing Rosie. I was pretty sure I was on the money and your comments enforced that. If the vet is coming out for someone else in the next couple of weeks I'll have him check her and get his opinion.
New and exciting things are in the works for my mares and myself, but I don't want to go into too much detail until everything is set, but it won't be long now.
I've been extremely busy getting my daughter ready for college, lots of shopping, and my boys ready for school. Where has the summer gone?!?
Oh... Trail Ride tomorrow with another draft rider... Her draft is BIGGER than Rosie so I know she won't take me places Rosie and I don't fit like my "small horse" riding friends.
Hah! That is something I never even considered that Draft Horses need special size considerations out on the trail.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun time, though! Can't wait to read about all your exciting news.

Used to ride the giants when I worked as a trail guide - always a danger of getting clothes-lined by low hanging branches lol ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the ride , and don't keep us in sispense too long k?
ReplyDeleteI never thought about that either, but I guess I better since Daltrey will be a very big boy.
ReplyDeleteYeah, spill. What's up?
You are terrible for dropping hints of big news and keeping us hanging :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the trail ride. Sounds great.
Keep us posted, Jeni!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!!
