Status Quo

Not really much to write about lately.  It's rained every single day for the last 7 or 8 days.  Not a gentle rain either.  Inches and inches of water fell from the sky.

So i've been doing a lot of the same stuff all us horse owners do.  Clean stalls, make sure they are fed, warm, dry and safe.  Beyond that I've been playing taxi mom and Christmas shopping.

Oh, and hurting myself...   I get to accessorize my wardrobe with this wonderfully chic wrist brace.

Nothing too serious just "severe sprain".  Not sure how but was cleaning stalls and it went pop.   Hopefully more to write about after the weekend.

  3. I agree with dreaming - you got to watch that stall cleaning. I hope you're better soon and the floods subside.

  4. That's why I pay others miniscule amounts to do that! (OK, I do it too sometimes).

Hoping the brace helps your wrist in its speedy recovery =)

  6. That much rain would drive me crazy. Of course, our snow is just as bad, too.

Boy, it sucks getting older. I was doing lots of outdoor physical work today and I am completely wiped out spent and aching all over. Trudging through snow and lifting heavy stuff is just not in my repertoire of abilities anymore. ugh!

    Feel better soon,

  9. I hate when you don't do anything to hurt yourself and stuff goes "pop". the older I get the more often that happens. take care of yourself, and get better soon!

My word verification "word" is "dingura", which made me giggle for no logical reason.
